The retention of the listed structures and scheduled long barrow, the retention/provision of an appropriate setting and the protection of that setting from the redevelopment of the rest of the site should be site-specific requirement in Policy D-HAL003 in order to provide protection for these designated and any non-designated assets in accordance with the NPPF and as part of the positive strategy for the conservation and enjoyment of, and the clear strategy for enhancing, the historic environment required by paragraphs 126 and 157 Without those requirements, we consider that Policy D-HAL003 does not provide adequate protection to heritage assets
