Plan should be updated to include reference to updated guidance in PPG older persons housing. Addition would be uncontroversial and would ensure a greater degree of consistency with the updated PPG against which the VALP will need to be considered once it is adopted.

In addition, and as recognised in the PPG (Paragraph: 002 Reference ID: 63-002-20190626), we consider that it would be a positive step for the VALP to refer to the wider benefits which can be provided by providing such accommodation.
