MM161 refers to existing completions and commitments for C2 accommodation between 2013 - 2018 of 1,130 units, resulting in a remaining requirement of 800 units of C2 accommodation to be identified between 2018 - 2033.
However, we have been unable to find any evidence to explain which sites/schemes contribute to the figure of 1,130 and so that level of supply cannot be interrogated to check if it qualifies as a C2 use. Our own research has not established anything like the supply claimed. AVDC should provide greater clarification of the forms of accommodation counted towards the 1,130 units figure.
