The Council has calculated the capacity of sites which may be expected to provide C2 older persons accommodation between 2018 - 2023 based on an assumed density of 70 units per hectare (in less urban, more suburban and edge of settlement locations) and 100 units per hectare in more urban settings. However there is no evidence to support any form of claim that the three sites allocated by the Council will deliver the quantum of accommodation expected by AVDC by 2023.
