These representations consider that the removal of this site (Land south of SMD012) as a housing allocation under strategic policy AGT2 of the emerging Local Plan is unjustified. The removal of the site is considered to make the plan unsound when assessed against the requirements of the NPPF (2012) by failing to be 'positively prepared' and 'justified'.

Change suggested by respondent:

Amend Boundary of Allocation AGT2 It is proposed that the AGT2 allocation boundary that formed the Submission Version of the VALP (November 2017) should be re-integrated with the VALP to help deliver appropriate housing upon the site and secure the delivery of the section of the Link Road that traverses the site.
